Silk is a born in Canada academic. Silk was raised in Fredericton. She was born to Peter Silk, a professor, and Ilkay Silk, a playwright and director who was also renowned for her acting. Anna remembers the earliest moments of her life when she went to watch her mother's performance in play rehearsals. Silk was a small girl in a variety of commercials. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the beginning: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto for her acting to improve in November of 1999. After a decade saw her move into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors' workshop, in 2007. They were married in a civil ceremony on the 10th of December 2009, after becoming engaged. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 at Fredericton at a Jewish ceremony after becoming a Jew.
